My Christmas

I hope everyone had a great holiday! I know I did. I wanted to share with you a few of my favorite things I got for Christmas this year. I really felt spoiled.

For breakfast on Christmas day I made;

That I found thanks to Pinterest. Recipe found here.

And here are some pics of present opening;

The Christmas gift I gave to Dave....

Again, I found this idea on Pinterest. The box was a steal from Hobby Lobby for 50% off. Inside are 12 cards, one for each month of the year with a pre-planned date. I tried to make them all unique, things we have never done, or have wanted to do for a while. If you want the list of dates I came up with, let me know and I would be happy to email them to you.

And here are some of my favorite gifts.

My new boots. Ow Ow.

Owl necklaces, top from Mom and Dad, bottom from Dave.

And a family recipe book from Moma-in-law. The book it's self is beautiful as you can see below and includes old and new family recipes. Also, at the bottom of the pages she had included little family facts, like the one pictured below gives Dave's weight and time of birth. So sweet. And there are plenty of blank pages to add more.

And... The gift we gave out was a framed 5x7 of The Prophet.

I found this beautiful photo for free from a blogger through Pinterest. I printed it through WHCC on their metallic paper and it came out wonderfully. Such a beautiful photo that we got huge reactions from. Win!

  1. I love your gift to Dave! I also love the box you put it in. I'm going to have to copy that idea eventually. :) It was so good to see you! Please come and visit someday. :)
