Utah ~ Summer 2018 ~ Part 2

Missed Part 1? Click here to start there!

Morning of 4th of July we woke up early for the balloon festival in Provo! It was a little crazy! But we managed to get some cool pictures and run into some good friends!

Next a little lunch party with Dave's family and took some updated family pictures. Love them even in all the madness! lol....

Next, to my aunts house for dessert and a awesome view of the valley for fireworks!

The next day we went to Salt Lake so I could buy myself a new temple dress from Q.Noor. I have been eyeing their beautiful dresses for so long but wanted to be able to try one on before buying. I was so glad to finally be able to! I am grateful to have such a beautiful and comfortable dress to wear to the temple!

Rex loved running around mom and dads big yard! Such a happy boy when he gets to be outside! I feel so bad we don't have a yard for him at home!

The next day we saw at Tibble Fork Reservoir with Dave's brother and his family. It was SO COLD. It is one of my favorite places, and I have always wanted to swim there. I had hoped to be able to rent a kayak or canoe somewhere locally, but I didn't have enough time to plan ahead and everything was booked up. Such a beautiful place but a little too cold to enjoy swimming in!

And can't visit Utah without a stop a J-Dawgs!

And that's a wrap! We stopped outside of Denver for dinner with my good friend Kyla and continued on our way home. We had a long day and pushed it all the way to Amarillo. We had a long stretch of road between Amarillo and the Colorado boarder where we were just pretty much driving through the middle of nowhere late at night. I don't think I have ever seen so many stars in the sky! It was incredible! I wish I was a better night photographer to have been able to capture it... Well if you made it to this point, thanks for reading! Hope you have enjoyed out summer road trip adventures!
