Last weekend we went over to my Aunt and Uncle's house for dinner and she had Strawberry Shortcake for dessert. Seriously the best Strawberry Shortcake ever. I am not the biggest fan of Strawberry Shortcake but this was amazing!
It's simply the same recipe, but with Vanilla Cake mix and Vanilla pudding mix. Super easy and super yummy!
I don't think I have ever made Strawberry Shortcake before, but for the strawberry topping I simply mashed up strawberries, added a little bit of water and sugar. Topped off with whip cream!
1 Vanilla cake mix (I have noticed that if I buy a "cheap" brand, it is not as good. I usually by Betty Crocker)
1 small instant vanilla pudding (don’t prepare the pudding, just use the powder)
1 cup sour cream
¾ cup vegitable oil
¾ cup water
12 oz Mini white chocolate chips (I actually didn't use any when I made it....)
4 eggs
Mix well at low speed at medium for 3-5 minutes (I try to do it for at least 4, if not five minutes)
Bake for 40 minutes at 325 degrees or until tooth pick comes out clean.
