The Girls

I couldn't leave Virginia without a photoshoot with my favorite models. Honestly, I didn't get to shoot them nearly as much as I would have liked while I was there, and the one full on session we did do, produced pretty pictures, but did not go as smoothly as one would hope.

We went to a very pretty abandoned house about 15 minutes from the house.

Christina is taller, but not much else has changed in her.

But Jessica on the other hand....

As this little series above progresses, you get an idea of how the session went...

In Utah, I had shot the girls in all sorts of locations, and bugs never really were something we stressed about... Until this session. Utah has ticks, and growing up we saw a few, but evidently, the Few we saw were nothing compared to the many the family has had to deal with in Virginia. So as I am bravely leading my little models through waist length grass and weeds, they are at wits end due to their fear of ticks and any other creepy crawlies.

Hardly fifteen minutes into the session -- the above breaks out.
Stress, stress, and finally, big ol' crocodile tears.

At that point, I had given up, and we headed, Christina ran, back to the car.

Bless her heart, Jessica was still game, so we shot a few more at their pretty near by pond.
