Utah ~ Fall 2018

I ended up taking another trip to Utah, my third this year! I came into town Halloween night. Jessica had done her make up for a night of passing out candy. She is so talented!

The next morning I woke up early to take some photos of my favorite place. I had been hoping to catch a pretty sunrise, but it was a cloudy morning. Still one of my favorite pictures though!

Next I went to visit family and meet my newest baby nephew!

Utah is such a dangerous place for someone who has a sweet tooth.. There are so many yummy bakeries and the new trend of drive thru cookie and soda shops have taken over! Out of all drive thru cookies options, Sodalicious is my personal favorite! Being the middle of fall, they had some seasonal options available. The employee recommended their pumpkin frosting on their snickerdoodle cookies. Guys. It. Was. Heaven. Let's not talk about how many of those cookies I had over the span of my trip. I may have even brought two home on the plane with me. I have also come up with what I feel is a pretty good copy cat recipe that I will be sharing soon...

Each trip to Utah, I like to take the time to visit the graves of my grandparents. It always seems to be overcast every time I go, but I appreciate the quiet time to myself to visit and reflect.

That night we enjoyed some yummy Cafe Rio and a beautiful sunset view from the house.

Saturday morning I got to visit the Provo City Center temple with my dear dear friend Aprill. It was the most wonderful morning, in the most beautiful place, I am so grateful we were able to go together!

We left the temple just as the sun was coming up, and I decided to try out Provo Bakery that so many people had told me I needed to check out. For being so early on a Saturday morning, the place was so busy! I grabbed a slew of yummy baked goods to share with the family. It was all so yummy! Definitely worth checking out if you are in the area!

That afternoon I took some fall pictures with my baby sisters! It's been too long since I have done a session of them together. We had so much fun and laughed so much!

^ Jess helping shade the sun, hahaha

And it's not a fall photoshoot without throwing around a few leaves.

Sunday we went to Springville for my newest cousins baby blessing!

That afternoon Christina and I went on a drive up the canyon. Fall in Utah is so beautiful!

lol, love this dork

Monday morning I went to the Draper temple with my mom. A sweet lady in there said some very special and touching things. A memory I will cherish forever.

That evening I did some photoshoots with some good friends! It was so great to see them and catch up!

Sometimes the bloopers are my favorites lol
This face = how I feel about fall

It was a fun filled trip and always so much fun to catch up with family and friends! Hopefully it's not too long till we can visit again!
