Fall Is Coming!

I am so excited for fall! The leaves are changing and the weather is getting cooler. This is hands down my favorite time of year. I spent this weekend adding lots of awesome fall clothing items to my closet! I love finding great deals and everything I bought was $15 or less! I got in trouble for not sharing some good deals that I found last week, so I promise, if I come across any good deals, I'll be sharing!

First, I have been wanting to add some boots to my closet, I have had my eye on these pair of boots forever. I jumped on the Delia*s and found they had these boots on sale for $14.99 (reg $39.50)! What a steal! They still have them on there at that price! I ordered them in black.

I have also been really wanting some boot/slippers and found these ones, also from Delia*s for only $9.99. I might go back and buy one of each color, but I ordered the cream ones for now. They came in the mail on Saturday and are so cozy!

This website, UrbanOg has lots of super cheap boots, like this pair, for only $30. I have never bought from them yet, so I can't vouch for the quailty, but I'll be sure to let you know! If you have ever bought from them, let me know!

I also have been on the hunt for chunky sweaters. I hit up Target, Old Navy, and shopped online at a bunch of places but I couldn't find anything that was fitting what I was looking for. So I hit up DI (a local thrift store) and within 5 minutes of being in the store found two Old Navy sweaters for only $5 each. One grey and one a deep forest green. I washed them and left the house and someone threw them in the dryer so one of them shrunk quite a bit =( uggg! Thank heavens it was only $5! I'll have to hit up DI again to hunt for more!

I am still wanting to get one more pair of boots, a flannel plaid and a denim button down, a pair of nice jeans, more chunky scarves and a girl can never have too many sweaters or cardigans.

So in love with this look. See why a need a denim button down and a chunky colorful sweater?

Love every single element of this outfit, the button down, the scarf, the boots.

I have had a really hard time finding a nice flannel top. I bought one from Target for $12 but it's short, and I want it to be more tunic like. If I can get my sewing machine to be friends and work, I'll take a long mans shirt and take it in to fit me but still be long.

So if you know where to get a good deal on denim or plaid shirts, cute boots, sweaters and scarves let a girl know!

Also! I am on the hunt for good leggings. I live in leggings. My favorite ones so far are Old Navy ones, they are the thickest I can find, last forever and are only $12. Target ones are not bad, only $8, but tend to be thin so I buy a size or two up so they are a little lose, and develop holes really quickly. I have also tried Forever 21 ones are they are really cheap usually only $4.50 but are fairly thin and also develop holes quickly. I have considered coughing up the $28 for a paid of American Apparel leggings. Overall the reviews on them are really good and they have a rainbow of colors to choose from, but $28 is pretty expensive for a pair of leggings, any one know if it's worth the price?

Finally, if any one is wanting to book Fall Family sessions please book sooner rather then later. The leaves are changing a bit earlier then normal this year so you don't want to miss out on them. My September is almost fully booked and October isn't far from it, so don't drag your feet!
Please note, my prices will be going up as of October 1st!
