On Saturday, we watched conference. For lunch we had sandwiches. This is mine. With turkey, Havarti cheese, tomato and pesto. Yum!
The family enjoying lunch.
(On a side note - Christina hasn't been eating much, and because she hasn't been eating much she feels sick, then eats less. It's not that she doesn't like what we're making... I don't know what it is.... Any thoughts?)
After lunch, Grandpa gave us a lesson in guns. He explained that guns aren't the bad thing, people are. And that guns can be our best friend. He had a 22 rifle, and two pistols.
I'm some what opposed to guns, and he seemed some what concerned by this....
I'm not opposed to guns themselves, just people having guns.....
Grandpa explained and had us try aiming properly.
WWII Pistol - I like history a lot so... for some reason it's just really cool to me that it's from WWII.
Then Grandpa gave us a lesson in tennis. We would have gone out and played (I love tennis, I feel its like one of the few sports I'm good at...) too bad it was too cold. = (
The pics of the kiddos holding the guns is a little disturbing. Did he bring them just to show them off?
ReplyDeleteHe wanted to teach us about them, but it was too cold to do that, so we just practiced aiming. Don't worry, they don't have bullets.
