Our Saturday Adventure

Okay not really a big adventure, but fun to get out of the house. We drove to Midway and just checking out the schnazzy houses.

My parents showed us this house and I've always thought it was adorable!

A couple pretty landscape shops.

We then discovered the Midway Ice Castles. So cool! We sadly didn't have enough cash on us to go through so guess where we will be next weekend??!

Random pic by Dave. Midway is so cool!

And on the way back home Dave got some shots of the ice fishers out on the Deer Creek Reservoir. It's so cool/nerve racking to see all those people out on the ice. I kinda wanted to stop and walk out on the ice, but maybe on another day.

And then we went to J-Dawgs. I am not the biggest hot dog fan but these are not your crappy hot dogs you buy at a fast food place, they are these heafty flavorful dogs with these fab buns and your choice of toppings. They also have this pretty yummy "special sauce". If you have never gone, I insist you do, and I live super close, so you should stop buy while you are in town!

It's been a pretty fun week of shooting too.

Earlier in the week I shot a 1 week old new born. She was a little fussy, but I still got some cute ones!

And this weekend we shot for Dave's sister Julie and her fiancée Brad. We went down to Utah lake. I had this huge vision for the shoot, you can see clear across the frozen lake and you have a Gorgeous view of the mountains on the other side! Not to mention all the gorgeous sunsets lately.... When we got there sadly it was horribly foggy and not at all as I had gloriously pictured and hoped for, but I'm not giving up! The location has some serious potential. But I still love the shots I got. Here are just two of the pretty little couple.
