Apps

One of my unwritten resolutions is to make better use of my iPhone and I have some awesome apps I'll share;

Day One

When I was in middle school and high school I wrote a lot. I mean a lot. Writing in a journal was an everyday, must do thing. Since being married I hardly write at all. Not really sure why, but this has helped. I wanted an app that was easy and had nice features and after a little research, this definitely fit my needs. It's super simple and easy to understand I personal love you can add a photo to each post. I really love being able to add to it whenever, wherever. The only con is it's $4.99, which for me is steep for an app, but with all it's features, I feel it's worth it. Plus, a nice Journal is at least $9.99. It also reminds you if you don't write for a while which is kinda nice.

Geocaching
"Geocahing is a free real-world outdoor treasure hunt. Players try to locate hidden containers, called geocaches, using a smartphone or GPS and can then share their experiences online. (Read our Guide to the Game)"

Seriously, if you have never gone, do it.  Can't beat free entertainment that gets you out doors. The main way to Geocach is using a GPS which will provide a bit more accuracy but is certainly not as convenient. I swear I got a deal on it when I bought it, but it is $9.99, which is still a good deals for the endless entertainment it can provide.

Food on the Table

I've talked about this one before but I still use it and mainly just use the app. Basically as you see above it shows you the deals at your grocery store and you can find recipes using those on-sale items and make a organized shopping list. You can organize it online and send it to your phone, or just do it all through your phone. I literally CAN NOT go to the store without a list. If I don't have a list, the moment I step into the store I literally forget every single thing I had planned on getting. It's an absolute waste for me to go without a list. This helps me save money and be organized. And you can't beat completely free.

Waze

"Waze is the world's fastest-growing community-based traffic and navigation app. Join other drivers in your area who share real-time traffic and road info, saving everyone time and gas money on their daily commute."

This app is pretty sweet as you can report cops, potholes, nasty weather effecting driving, car accidents, slow traffic, and tons of other things and see ahead if anyone else has reported things on the path your going. There are not a whole lot of people on it, but it's still nice to use. And free!
