I have been dreaming of warmer weather and it made me think of our last beach trip, and I realized I never blogged about it!
Last May we decided to take a day trip to the beach. We only live about 2 and a half hours away, but we certainly don't go often enough. I am hoping to make many more trips this summer!
We had been to Mustang Island previously, but decided to check out North Parde Island. I hear South Padre Island is incredible, but that's about 4 and a half hours from us, but we hope to make a trip there soon!
Lots of people were leaving as it was the end of a 3 day holiday weekend, so luckily for us the beach wasn't too busy.
The waves were perfect, fun to play in, but not too powerful. I hate being thrown around by the waves!
Before heading home we grabbed a bite to eat. So yummy!
